Elloughton-cum-Brough Town Council's Petuaria Community Award has been created to recognise the hard work and determination of volunteers in Elloughton and Brough.  To celebrate those who selflessly give up their time for the benefit of the community.  The award is for an individual volunteer not a group of volunteers. The award is glass trophy to keep and a shield to hold for a year.  The Award Ceremony will be held on Saturday 7th April 2018, 4.30 - 6.30 pm at the Petuaria Centre.

Nominees must live in the parish, must be doing or have done voluntary work in the parish or have made a difference to people's lives in the parish. The project(s) involved must operate on a non-commercial basis.

Citizens Advice outreach sessions are held at Brough Community Centre.  The problems we are most often asked about concern benefits, debt, housing or employment but we also receive enquiries on consumer rights, legal matters and immigration.  Appointments are available on Thursday mornings by calling 01405 720866.
